Herring Estate 1924

On Saturday 24th April 1924 the Herring Estate (1924) went on sale. This sale incuded 18 lots:

  1. Cnr of Malton St (now Copeland) and Hull Rd
  2. Cnr of Albert St and Hull Rd.
  3. between Victoria Rd and Dean St, Penant Hills.

The Herring Estate was named after Mr Leslie G. Herring a Beecroft orchardist who died on Friday 19th September 1913.


Mr. Herring resided at ‘Sheen,’ Hannah-street, Beecroft.  He had an extensive orchard property at Beecroft, part of which is the subject of this sale.
