Netball
Netball came to Beecroft in an organised fashion in 1963 through the endeavours of Audrey Sumerville and Joan McDonald and under the auspices of the Beecroft Sports Club. Initially they were held at Beecroft Public School prior to relocating to Cheltenham Oval where they continue to operate apart from a period of time during the building of a expansion of the motorway [1].
